Every now and again we meet a person whom we instantaneously recognize as special and generous. Juan Jose Barajas was such a man. With his unforgettable smile and pleasant manner he connected with everyone. It is hard to imagine that, at age 41, he would be taken from his wife and four children.
On Saturday, December 17, Juan Jose Barajas was killed as a result of a drive-by shooting as he sat on the steps of his apartment building in Los Angeles. The father of four worked as a cashier in an insurance company cafeteria.
During this holiday season, let us be grateful for our loved ones and treasure the memory of Juan.
For those wishing to make a donation to Juan's widow and four children, a special account has been established at the Farmers Credit Union.
